What’s your typical day like?
I wake up around 5:30 a.m. to do an hour of spinning bike cardio. After that, I have breakfast with family and get ready for work. I teach 8-9 hours a day at the gym, depending on how many clients are scheduled. After that, I head back home, eat dinner, and rest.
Who are some of your celebrity clients?
To name a few: Janella Salvador, Erich Gonzales, Julia Barretto, Yen Santos, Marco Gumabao, Khel Pangilinan, Sophie Albert, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, Enzo Pineda, JM de Guzman, Robi Domingo, Kyle Echarri, Kris Bernal, Magui Ford, Aiai delas Alas, Claudia Barretto, Marjorie Barretto, Apple David and many more.
What’s your advice to those who want to start a more active lifestyle?
Sit to stand. Why it helps: This exercise works the quadriceps in the front of the thigh and gluteal muscles in the buttocks, which helps protect your ability to get up from a chair, out of a car, or off a bathroom seat. In addition, it’s possible to use repeated repetitions of this exercise to get your heart rate up.
What’s your favorite workout?
Leg day. I want to improve my lower extremities more.
What are some of your fond UPIS memories?
Joining the Battle of the Bands and the junior varsity teams’ dual meet with UP Rural High.
How did UPIS help you become who you are today?
UPIS taught me to strive for excellence, to be the best of what I can be. It taught me the values that helped me get to where I am today.
